Even the Wrongfully Accused Need a Clean Slate

“One day 30 years ago, June Newsome was buying baby supplies with a credit card given to her by their child’s father. As she was checking out, Newsome was stopped at the register, unable to complete her purchase.

The credit card she was using had been stolen, but that wasn’t even the worst part. When police investigated, for some reason the detective added a line to the incident report that indicated Newsome had a gun in the car. She didn’t.”
